Many people love photography. Some people might think that to take pictures is as easy as point and shoot, but they are forgetting the real essence of photography that is to seize and capture the beautiful moments and energy. Photography takes the eye of an artist and the ability of a knowledgeable photographer to use the camera.
So you want better pictures? Here are a few tips.
Composition. Organize the elements and individual details of a scene into a balanced and pleasing arrangement to convey the message of the picture. Some might like your composition, some might not but dont worry. Pick your own style let it be.
Panning. Blur the background but keep the subject as sharp as possible. Fast shutter speed allowed by fast moving subjects is easier to capture in a smoothly panned shot.
Using Flash. Use it indoors when the main light source is not enough ambient light for a desired shutter speed. Use fill flash or fill-in flash which is a low powered flash added to ambient light to illuminate a subject close to the camera. Another technique is the bounce flash, point a flash upwards to a reflective surface to reflect the light onto the subject.
